More positive reactions towards ASYLUMS. What a great week last week was for the band. We secured them a spot on the AMAZING RADIO PLAYLIST for the full week and also a debut XFM spin for their first ever offering on XFM XPOSURE with Bella Union Records head of operations Simon Raymonde who was filling in John Kennedy. Not only did they get played out on XFM London, Scotland and Manchester, they opened up the show with THE DEATH OF TELEVISION. ASYLUMS are also getting weekly spins from Jackson cooper of RIVIERA FM and Leeds based AUDIO GRAFFITI. Ally McCrae of BBC Radio 1 really loved this track as well but sadly, time and playlist space was against us as it was BBC r1 introducing’s last ever show on Sunday….otherwise…you would have heard this blasting out of the Radio 1 towers without a shadow of a doubt. Catch Asylums live in Southend on the 29th of August at The Market Place, ahead of a series of gigs around the capital in the autumn, including The Lock Tavern in Camden on the 2nd of October, Notting Hill Arts Club on the 5th of October and The Nest in Dalston and the 25th that very same month.
