We’re delighted to announce a fantastic addition to our ever growing roster. THE JACQUES! This young 4 piece are set for great things over the next few months and beyond, so we highly recommend you keep your eyes and ears closely on this band. The Jacques are brilliant! Hailing from Bristol UK, the band were instantly signed on the spot by Gary Powell from The Libertines when they opened up for The Libertines at Hyde park to thousands of people. No one was expecting this band to burst onto the stage, after all, nobody really knew who they were! They instantly had the crowd talking. More amazingly, the band bumped into Huey Morgan from the Fun Lovin’ Criminals at Guilfest and passed him their newly cut demo cd. Huey went wild for The Jacques and went ahead and played them at demo stage on his BBC 6 Music show, and then following that, on BBC radio 2!

Following this amazing reaction….the band went on to record their debut EP – ‘PRETTY DJ’ over summer at the legendary Rockfield studios where Queen made ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. The Jacques drummer is officially the youngest drummer to ever record at this iconic and legendary recording studio. We’re absolutely pleased to announce that this 4 track EP will be released on NOVEMBER 3rd on 25 HOUR CONVENIENCE STORE records and will be getting it’s first airing on BBC 6 Music on Saturday 18th October by the legend that is Huey Morgan from the Fun Lovin’ Criminals. Tune in tomorrow from 10am to ‘The Huey Show’.
